Description

Bright, Long-Lasting Glow in the Easy-Print PLA You Already Know

Eryone Glow-in-the-Dark PLA is a specialty filament designed to deliver bright, long-lasting luminescence with the easy printability of standard PLA. Available in 8 vivid colours — Glow Green, Glow Blue, Glow Purple, Glow Orange/Red, Glow Orange/Yellow, Glow Firefly Green, Glow Rainbow, and Glow Neon Rainbow — it’s one of the most eye-catching filaments in your collection.

Why Choose Glow in the Dark PLA?

Charged by natural or artificial light, this filament emits a vivid glow in low-light conditions — perfect for cosplay props, gaming miniatures, signage, night-time decorations, kids’ projects, safety markers, Halloween decorations, and artistic prints. The glow pigments are evenly dispersed throughout the filament for consistent brightness across the full spool, so your prints look just as good on the last layer as the first.

How Long Does It Glow?

After a few minutes of exposure to light, Eryone’s luminous PLA emits a bright glow for several hours in the dark. Stronger or longer light exposure increases both the intensity and duration of the effect. Direct sunlight or UV light charges it fastest — a UV torch or blacklight will recharge the filament to maximum brightness in seconds.

The glow effect does not wear out over time. The filament can be recharged repeatedly over the lifetime of the print with no loss of luminescence.

Easy to Print, No Special Setup Needed

Eryone Glow PLA prints at the same settings as standard PLA — no enclosure required, no exotic hardware. The PLA base ensures strong layer adhesion, minimal warping, and a clean matte finish that actually enhances the glow effect compared to glossy surfaces.

Note that the phosphorescent particles are mildly abrasive, so a hardened steel nozzle is recommended for high-volume use. A standard brass nozzle will still work but may wear slightly faster than with plain PLA.

Tips for Maximum Glow Effect

For the brightest, longest-lasting glow, design or orient your prints so the visible surfaces have thicker walls — the more glow material the light passes through, the brighter the effect appears. Print with at least 3–4 perimeters and 20%+ infill where possible. Matte finishes glow more vividly than glossy surfaces, and lighter base colours (green, yellow) generally produce a more intense glow than darker tones (purple, red).
