What Temperature Should I Print ABS At?

Why Does ABS Warp So Easily?

ABS shrinks noticeably as it cools, and on an open-frame printer the bottom layers stay warm on the heated bed while the top layers cool to room temperature. That uneven cooling creates internal stress that pulls corners up off the bed, which is why a stable, warm printing environment matters so much.

Do I Need An Enclosure To Print ABS?

An enclosure is strongly recommended, especially for larger or taller parts. Keeping the ambient chamber temperature around 40–60°C dramatically reduces warping and layer splitting by letting the part cool slowly and evenly rather than being hit with a sharp temperature drop.

How Do I Stop My ABS Print Lifting Off The Bed?

Is ABS Safe To Print Indoors?
