Description
PETG in Standardised Tool & Safety Colours
PETG Tool Colour is standard PETG filament colour-matched to common tool, safety, and industrial colours — the yellows, oranges, reds, and other tones used in workshop tooling, safety signage, equipment housings, and organisational systems. If you’re printing tool holders, jigs, fixtures, safety guards, or workshop organizers and need them to match existing colour standards, this is the filament to use.
It prints with the same settings and offers the same strength, impact resistance, and moisture resistance as standard PETG — the difference is the colour accuracy.
Why Tool Colours in PETG?
PLA is the default for most 3D printing, but workshop and industrial parts need the durability that PLA can’t provide. PETG handles higher temperatures (up to ~75–80°C), resists moisture and many chemicals, and absorbs impact rather than snapping. Printing your tool holders, jigs, and safety equipment in PETG means they’ll survive the workshop environment — and in the correct colours, they integrate visually with your existing tooling and safety systems.
Ideal Applications
Custom tool holders and shadow boards in matching tool brand colours, workshop jigs, fixtures, and alignment tools, safety guards, covers, and machine enclosures, cable management and organisational systems, colour-coded storage bins and labels, replacement knobs, handles, and equipment housings, and any functional workshop part where colour accuracy and PETG durability are both needed.
