Description
Prusa CORE One PP Powder-Coated Print Sheet — Finally, PP That Sticks
Polypropylene is one of the most useful engineering plastics — chemical resistant, fatigue resistant, lightweight, and flexible — but it’s notoriously difficult to print because it won’t stick to standard build surfaces. PEI, glass, textured sheets, and satin sheets all fail with PP. The Prusa PP Powder-Coated Print Sheet solves this with a surface specifically engineered for polypropylene adhesion.
If you’ve been avoiding PP filament because of bed adhesion failures, or using messy workarounds like packing tape and PP sheets glued to your build plate, this sheet eliminates the problem entirely.
The PP Adhesion Problem — Solved
Polypropylene has extremely low surface energy — meaning almost nothing sticks to it, including itself on a build plate. Standard PEI, smooth, textured, and satin sheets don’t provide reliable PP adhesion. The PP powder-coated surface is chemically and structurally designed to grip PP filament during printing and release cleanly once the plate cools — no glue, no tape, no workarounds.
Not Just for PP
While the PP sheet is designed primarily for polypropylene, it also works well with several other materials:
Excellent Adhesion
PP (Polypropylene) — the primary purpose of this sheet
PETG — strong adhesion without separator
Flex / TPU — good grip without glue
PA (Nylon) — reliable adhesion for nylon prints
Not Recommended
PLA — use the satin or smooth sheet instead
ABS / ASA — use the satin or textured sheet instead
PC — use the satin sheet instead
The PP sheet is a specialist surface. If you print PP regularly, it’s essential. If you never print PP, the satin sheet is the better all-rounder.
Double-Sided Spring Steel
Both sides feature the same PP powder-coated surface. The spring steel base snaps onto the CORE One’s magnetic build plate and flexes for easy print removal — particularly useful with PP, which can grip the surface firmly during printing.
Care & Maintenance
Clean with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) between prints to maintain adhesion. Soap and water for deeper cleaning. Avoid acetone — it can damage powder-coated surfaces. Do not use sharp metal scrapers — flex the sheet to release prints.
Compatibility
Fits the Prusa CORE One and CORE One+. Also fits the Prusa MK3, MK3S, MK3S+, MK4, and MK4S (same 254 × 241 mm sheet size).
For the CORE One L, see the CORE One L PP Sheet — different size.
