Glitter Rainbow PLA combines two of the most visually striking filament effects into a single spool — rainbow multicolour transitions along the filament length and fine glitter particles that catch and reflect light from every angle. As each layer prints, the colour shifts gradually while the embedded glitter sparkles across the entire surface. The result is a print that changes colour and shimmers simultaneously.

This is the filament that makes people pick up a print and turn it in the light. It’s a guaranteed attention-grabber for display pieces, gifts, market stall products, and anything designed to impress.

Rainbow + Glitter — How It Works

The filament contains both colour-shifting dye segments and suspended glitter particles. The rainbow effect comes from gradual colour transitions printed into the filament — each section of filament is a slightly different hue, producing multicolour gradient patterns across your print. The glitter effect adds a reflective sparkle layer on top of the colour transitions, visible from every angle and intensifying under direct light.

Every print is unique — the colour pattern depends on where on the spool you start and how much filament the model uses. Taller prints and vase-mode models show the rainbow transitions most dramatically.

Nozzle Considerations

Use a 0.4 mm or larger brass nozzle — the glitter particles can accumulate in smaller nozzle bores. A standard brass nozzle is fine — glitter particles are not abrasive like carbon fibre and won’t cause nozzle wear. Avoid 0.2 mm nozzles entirely.
