Description
Prusa CORE One Satin Powder-Coated Print Sheet — The Best All-Rounder
The Prusa Satin Powder-Coated Print Sheet sits between the smooth and textured sheet options, offering a lightly textured matte finish that provides optimal adhesion across the widest range of filament types — without needing glue, Windex, or any other adhesion aids for most materials. If you only want to own one print sheet, the satin is the one to choose.
The double-sided spring steel design snaps onto the CORE One’s magnetic build plate and flexes for easy print removal. Both sides feature the same satin powder-coated surface, giving you a spare side when one eventually wears.
Best Sheet for Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate prints better on the satin sheet than on either smooth or textured options. For frequent PC printing, a thin glue stick layer is recommended to protect the sheet surface from long-term damage — but adhesion is excellent without it.
No Glue Needed for Most Materials
The satin surface provides strong adhesion for the vast majority of filament types without any separation layer. PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, and PC all print directly on the satin surface. This simplifies your workflow — no spraying Windex, no applying glue sticks, no cleaning adhesive residue between prints.
Compatible Materials
PLA — excellent adhesion, no glue needed
PETG — excellent adhesion, no Windex or glue needed
ABS & ASA — good adhesion in enclosed chamber
TPU / FlexFill 98A — good adhesion, no glue needed
Polycarbonate — best of any Prusa sheet, glue recommended for frequent PC use
PA / Nylon — with appropriate settings
Care & Maintenance
Clean with soap and warm water, or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for routine maintenance. NEVER use acetone on the satin sheet. Acetone creates microfractures in the powder coating that degrade the surface over time. Do not use sharp metal objects (scrapers, spatulas) to remove prints — flex the spring steel instead.
Compatibility
Fits the Prusa CORE One and CORE One+. Also fits the Prusa MK3, MK3S, MK3S+, MK4, and MK4S (same 254 × 241 mm sheet size).
For the CORE One L (larger build plate), see the CORE One L Satin Sheet — different size.
