Description
Prusa CORE One L PP Powder-Coated Print Sheet — PP Adhesion on a Large Format Bed
Polypropylene won’t stick to standard build surfaces — and the problem is worse on a large-format printer where bigger PP prints have more surface area fighting against the bed. The Prusa PP Powder-Coated Print Sheet for the CORE One L solves this with a surface specifically engineered for polypropylene adhesion across the full 300 × 300 mm build platform.
No packing tape, no PP sheet glued to the bed, no workarounds. Drop the magnetic sheet on, print PP, flex to release. Done.
Why PP Needs Its Own Sheet
Polypropylene has extremely low surface energy — the lowest of any common 3D printing filament. PEI, smooth, textured, and satin sheets all fail with PP because the material simply won’t bond to those surfaces. The PP powder-coated surface is chemically and structurally formulated to grip PP filament during printing and release cleanly once the plate cools.
On the CORE One L’s 300 × 300 mm bed, reliable adhesion across the full surface is critical — a PP print lifting at one corner on a large bed means hours of wasted print time. The PP sheet provides consistent adhesion edge to edge.
Not Just for PP
While designed primarily for polypropylene, the PP sheet also works well with:
Excellent Adhesion
PP (Polypropylene) — the primary purpose of this sheet
PETG — strong adhesion without separator
Flex / TPU — good grip without glue
PA (Nylon) — reliable adhesion
Not Recommended
PLA — use the satin or smooth sheet
ABS / ASA — use the satin or textured sheet
PC — use the satin sheet
Double-Sided Spring Steel
Both sides feature the same PP powder-coated surface. The spring steel base snaps onto the CORE One L’s magnetic build plate and flexes for easy print removal.
Care & Maintenance
Clean with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) between prints to maintain adhesion. Soap and water for deeper cleaning. Avoid acetone — it can damage powder-coated surfaces. Do not use sharp metal scrapers — flex the sheet to release prints.
Compatibility
This sheet is sized for the Prusa CORE One L only. It does not fit the standard CORE One, CORE One+, MK3, or MK4 — those use a smaller sheet size. For the standard CORE One, see our CORE One PP Sheet.
