Description
Scan Colour and Geometry — Simultaneously
Every other scanning spray in the AESUB range applies a white matte coating that eliminates reflections and improves geometry capture — but in doing so, it covers the surface colour of the object. For many scanning applications that’s perfectly fine. But when your workflow requires capturing both surface geometry and colour information in the same scan, a white coating is a dealbreaker.
AESUB Transparent solves this with a unique transparent matte film that temporarily dulls glossy surfaces without obscuring their colour. Optical scanners can capture surface contours and colour values at the same time — delivering complete scan data in a single pass without the need for separate colour photography or post-processing colour mapping.
Like all AESUB products, the Transparent formula is self-vanishing and pigment-free. Once scanning is complete, the coating disappears on its own — no wiping, no solvents, no cleanup required.
Features:
- Transparent Matte Film — eliminates reflections while preserving surface colour
- Simultaneous Colour & Geometry Capture — no separate colour photography needed
- Self-Vanishing Formula — disappears after scanning, no cleaning required
- Pigment-Free — zero contamination to equipment or environment
- Thin & Homogeneous — consistent coating preserves fine detail
- Multi-Application — ideal for 3D scanning, photogrammetry, film & photography
- Contamination-Safe — safe for labs and sensitive production environments

💡 Which AESUB should I choose? If you need to capture surface colour alongside geometry — choose Transparent. If geometry only is required, choose Blue, Orange, or Green based on job size and duration.
Ideal for:
- Photogrammetry and colour scanning workflows
- Cultural heritage and museum digitisation
- Product photography and visualisation
- Film, VFX, and production asset scanning
- Scanning painted, decorated, or patterned surfaces
- Any application where surface colour must be preserved in the scan data
