The Phaetus Arkfly Conweb Cool Plate is a next-generation build surface engineered for Prusa MK3, MK4, and Core One printers. Using advanced microporous polymer technology, it delivers strong first-layer adhesion at room temperature — gripping your prints firmly during the print and releasing them cleanly once cooled, with no flexing, no scraping, and no adhesives required.

What is Microporous Polymer Technology?

Standard build surfaces rely on heat to achieve adhesion and release — the print sticks when the bed is hot and releases as it cools. The Conweb Cool Plate works differently. Its microporous polymer surface creates a mechanical bond with the filament at the microscopic level, providing strong adhesion without requiring elevated bed temperatures for most materials. Once the print completes and the plate cools to room temperature, parts release effortlessly with minimal force.

The result is a faster, more energy-efficient workflow — less time waiting for the bed to heat up, less energy consumed per print, and consistent, repeatable results across PLA, PETG, and compatible filaments.

Care Instructions:

Clean surface regularly with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to maintain adhesion performance Avoid sharp tools or metal scrapers that can damage the microporous surface Store flat when not in use to prevent warping
