Prusa CORE One L Textured Powder-Coated Print Sheet — Maximum Grip for Large Prints

The Prusa Textured Powder-Coated Print Sheet for the CORE One L provides the strongest adhesion of any Prusa sheet option on the 300 × 300 mm build platform. The coarse powder-coated texture grips filament firmly during printing and imparts a distinctive textured pattern on the bottom surface of every print — a look that many users prefer over the smooth or satin finish for its professional, non-reflective appearance.

On a large-format printer where big prints are more susceptible to corner lifting and warping, the textured sheet’s aggressive grip is a significant advantage.

Best for PETG

PETG and smooth PEI sheets don’t mix well — PETG bonds so strongly to smooth PEI that removing prints can damage the sheet. The textured surface solves this completely. PETG adheres firmly during printing but releases cleanly once the plate cools, with no separator needed and no risk of sheet damage. If PETG is your primary material, the textured sheet is the right choice.

The Textured Look

The textured sheet leaves a distinctive pattern on the bottom surface of every print — a coarse, non-reflective matte texture that hides minor first-layer imperfections and gives prints a professional, manufactured appearance. Some users specifically choose the textured sheet for this aesthetic, even when adhesion isn’t a concern.

Easy Print Release

Once the plate cools to room temperature, prints typically pop off with minimal force or a gentle flex of the spring steel. The textured surface releases parts more easily than smooth PEI after cooling — the texture creates micro-gaps between the print and surface that break adhesion uniformly once thermal contraction occurs.

Compatible Materials

PETG — excellent adhesion, no separator needed
PLA — good adhesion
ABS & ASA — good adhesion in enclosed chamber
PA / Nylon — with appropriate settings

For TPU/Flex and polycarbonate, the satin sheet is the better option.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soap and warm water, or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for routine maintenance. NEVER use acetone on the textured sheet. Acetone damages powder-coated surfaces. Do not use sharp metal scrapers — flex the spring steel to release prints.

Compatibility

This sheet is sized for the Prusa CORE One L only. It does not fit the standard CORE One, CORE One+, MK3, or MK4 — those use a smaller sheet size.
