PETG 1KG — Premium PETG for Functional & Everyday Prints

This is our premium PETG — a step up from Basic PETG with vibrant colour accuracy, vacuum-sealed packaging with resealable bags for moisture protection, and consistent extrusion performance. PETG is the go-to filament when PLA isn’t tough enough — it offers higher impact resistance, better heat tolerance, moisture resistance, and real-world durability while remaining easy to print on any FDM printer with a heated bed.

PETG vs PLA — When to Step Up

PLA is great for prototypes and display pieces, but it’s brittle, softens above 55°C, and degrades in moisture and sunlight. PETG addresses all of these — parts flex before breaking, handle temperatures up to approximately 75–80°C, resist moisture and humidity, and hold up better under UV exposure. If your print needs to survive beyond the display shelf, PETG is the material to use.

Nozzle temperature: 220–250°C
Bed temperature: 60–80°C
Print speed: 40–90 mm/s
Diameter: 1.75 mm ±0.05 mm
Enclosure: not required
Drying: 65°C for 4+ hours if stringing or surface issues appear

PETG sticks strongly to smooth PEI — if parts are difficult to remove, use a textured PEI sheet or apply a light layer of glue stick as a release agent.

Functional enclosures, brackets, and housings, snap-fit clips and mechanical assemblies, outdoor fixtures and garden accessories, moisture-resistant parts for humid environments, protective cases and covers, any print that needs to survive real-world handling, impact, and moderate heat

Storage

PETG is hygroscopic — it absorbs moisture from the air. This spool ships vacuum sealed with a resealable bag for protection. Reseal the bag between printing sessions or store in a dry box with desiccant. If print quality drops after extended exposure, dry at 65°C for 4+ hours to restore performance.
