Replacement X, Y & Z Axis Belt Kit for Flashforge AD5M & AD5M Pro

This timing belt kit includes replacement belts for the X, Y, and Z axes on the Flashforge Adventurer 5M and 5M Pro. All three motion axes on the AD5M use belt-driven systems, meaning worn belts on any axis can impact print quality — from layer shifting and ringing on X/Y to inconsistent layer heights and Z banding on the Z axis.

Replacing all three belts at once ensures consistent motion performance across every axis and avoids the situation where a fresh belt on one axis highlights wear on another.

When to Replace

Visible wear, fraying, or cracking on belt teeth or backing, layer shifting on X or Y axes, Z banding or inconsistent layer heights, ringing or ghosting artifacts on print surfaces, belt tension that won’t hold after re-tensioning, and as part of preventative maintenance after extended use.

Compatibility

This belt kit fits the Flashforge Adventurer 5M and Adventurer 5M Pro. It is not compatible with the AD5X, AD4, AD3, or other Flashforge models — those printers use different belt lengths and configurations.

Installation

Power off the printer. Release existing belt tension on each axis, remove the old belts, route the new belts along the same paths, and re-tension. Ensure teeth are properly seated on pulleys and idlers with no twisting. Tension should be firm but not overtight.
