The Phaetus DXC Extruder is a direct-drive extruder upgrade engineered specifically for the Creality K1 series, delivering measurably better filament grip, feed consistency, and service life compared to the stock extruder. Whether you’re pushing high-speed prints, running abrasive carbon fibre filaments, or struggling with flexible materials like TPU, the DXC removes the extruder as a limiting factor.

Why Upgrade to the Phaetus DXC?

The stock Creality K1 extruder performs adequately for standard filaments at moderate speeds — but shows its limitations quickly when you push harder. Abrasive filaments like PLA-CF and PA-CF accelerate gear wear. Flexible filaments like TPU cause inconsistent feeding and stringing. High-speed printing amplifies any inconsistency in grip or pressure.

The Phaetus DXC addresses all of these with a dual-drive helical gear system, adaptive pressure control, and RNC-coated gear teeth that last three times longer than standard extruder gears.
