Phaetus Silicon Carbide Nozzle for Creality K1C / K1 Max / Ender-3 V3
The Phaetus Silicon Carbide nozzle for the Creality K1C platform combines silicon carbide — with a Mohs hardness of 9.8, just below diamond — with Phaetus’s patented EndCoat™ coating for dual wear-resistant protection. The result is a nozzle that lasts up to 7 times longer than standard hardened steel, handles every abrasive filament on the market, and integrates seamlessly with the K1C’s quick-swap system.
If you’re printing carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-fill, or wood-fill on your K1C and going through hardened steel nozzles faster than you’d like, this is the upgrade that dramatically extends your replacement interval.
Dual Wear Protection — SiC + EndCoat™
Silicon carbide alone is one of the hardest materials used in nozzle manufacturing. Adding EndCoat™ on top creates a dual-layer defence — the SiC body resists bore wear from abrasive particles flowing through, while the EndCoat™ surface treatment protects the nozzle tip and exterior from buildup and thermal degradation. Together, they deliver 7× the service life of standard hardened steel.
The inner bore roughness is below Ra 0.4, ensuring smooth filament flow with minimal adhesion and residue buildup inside the nozzle.
