This 60W ceramic heater and NTC 100K thermistor kit is a direct drop-in replacement for the Creality K1 and K1 Max hotend heating assembly. The 360° surround heater design delivers uniform temperature distribution across the heat block, reaching 300°C in approximately 50 seconds for rapid heat-up and stable extrusion at high speeds.

If your K1 or K1 Max is showing temperature errors, slow heat-up, fluctuating nozzle readings, or thermistor faults, this kit restores reliable thermal performance with a simple plug-and-play swap.

60W Ceramic Heater — Built for Speed

The K1 series is designed for high-speed printing, and the heating system needs to keep up. The 60W ceramic element delivers significantly more heating power than standard 40W cartridge heaters, ensuring the hotend maintains stable temperatures even under heavy extrusion loads at speeds above 300 mm/s. The 360° surround design eliminates cold spots and reduces the thermal lag that causes inconsistent extrusion during fast printing.

When to Replace

Temperature error codes on the printer screen, nozzle temperature fluctuating or dropping during fast prints, slow heat-up beyond the normal ~50 second window, thermistor readings jumping erratically or showing abnormal values, and the printer halting due to thermal safety faults.

Compatibility

This kit fits the Creality K1 and K1 Max. It is not compatible with the K1C, K1 SE, K2 series, or Ender 3 models — those printers use different heater configurations.

Installation

Power off the printer and allow the hotend to cool completely. Disconnect the old heater/thermistor module, remove from the hotend, install the new kit, and reconnect. No soldering required. Run a PID auto-tune after installation for optimal temperature stability.
