Hardened Steel Quick-Swap Nozzle for Creality K1C

This bimetallic hardened steel nozzle is a direct quick-swap replacement for the Creality K1C. The hardened steel tip resists abrasive wear from carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-fill, and glow-in-the-dark filaments, while the copper body delivers fast, efficient heat transfer for high-flow extrusion at speeds up to 600 mm/s.

The K1C’s tool-free quick-swap nozzle system makes changing nozzle sizes fast and simple — release, swap, and resume printing in under a minute.

Bimetallic Construction — Why It Matters

A pure hardened steel nozzle is abrasion resistant but conducts heat poorly. A pure copper nozzle conducts heat brilliantly but wears instantly with abrasive filaments. Bimetallic nozzles combine the best of both — a copper alloy body for fast heat transfer and a hardened steel tip where the filament actually exits. You get the thermal performance of copper with the wear resistance of hardened steel.

0.4 mm

The standard all-rounder. Best balance of detail and speed for everyday printing across all materials including carbon fibre composites.

0.6 mm

Faster functional prints with higher material throughput. Recommended for abrasive filaments where the wider bore reduces clogging risk.

0.8 mm

Maximum speed and flow for large structural parts, draft prototypes, and vase-mode prints.

Quick-Swap Installation

The K1C uses Creality’s tool-free quick-swap nozzle system. Heat the nozzle to printing temperature, release the locking mechanism, pull out the old nozzle, insert the new one, and lock it in place. The entire swap takes under a minute with no tools, no hot-tightening, and no risk of cross-threading.

Compatibility

Designed for the Creality K1C. Also compatible with the K1 Max (2024 version with quick-swap hotend) and K1 SE.

Not compatible with the original K1 (2023), K2 series, Ender 3 series, or other Creality printers that use different nozzle interfaces.
