Flashforge AD5X Hotend Heat Sink + 0.4mm Nozzle – OEM

This OEM hotend heat sink assembly for the Flashforge AD5X comes pre-fitted with a genuine 0.4 mm nozzle — ready to install. The heat sink is a critical component that dissipates heat away from the cold zone above the melt area. When it degrades, clogs, or loses thermal efficiency, you get heat creep, filament jams, and inconsistent extrusion that no amount of nozzle changes or settings tweaking will fix.

If you’ve been chasing persistent clogs and heat creep issues on your AD5X and nozzle swaps haven’t solved it, the heat sink is likely the problem — and this kit replaces both in one go.

When to Replace

Persistent heat creep causing jams above the melt zone despite correct settings, filament softening and bulging in the cold zone during long prints, visible corrosion, damage, or clogged fins on the existing heat sink, inconsistent extrusion that doesn’t improve with nozzle changes, and as part of a full hotend service to restore factory thermal performance.

Included 0.4mm Nozzle

The assembly comes with a genuine Flashforge 0.4 mm nozzle pre-installed — the standard all-rounder size for everyday printing. If you need a different nozzle size, the included 0.4 mm can be swapped after installation.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Flashforge AD5X. Not compatible with the Adventurer 5M, 5M Pro, AD4, AD3, or other Flashforge models.

Installation

Power off the printer and allow the hotend to cool completely. Remove the existing heat sink assembly from the hotend, install the new unit with pre-fitted nozzle, and reconnect. Run a bed level calibration and test print after installation to verify correct thermal performance.
