Description
OEM Complete Hotend for Bambu Lab P1 Series
The Bambu Lab P1 Complete Hotend is a genuine OEM all-metal hotend assembly for the Bambu Lab P1P and P1S. Unlike a nozzle-only swap, this is the full hotend unit — nozzle, heater block, heatbreak, heater cartridge, and thermistor — ready to drop straight in. If your current hotend has a failing thermistor, leaking heat block, damaged heatbreak, or a worn nozzle, this single kit replaces everything at once.
Available in four nozzle sizes with hardened steel or stainless steel construction, the P1 Complete Hotend covers everything from ultra-fine detail work to fast large-format printing with abrasive composites.
Available Nozzle Options
0.2 mm Stainless Steel (SS) — Maximum detail for miniatures, fine text, and high-resolution models. Best with non-abrasive filaments like PLA, PETG, and silk. Not recommended for carbon fibre or glass fibre fills as the small orifice is prone to clogging with particle-loaded filaments.
0.4 mm Hardened Steel (HS) — The standard all-rounder. Balances print speed and detail for everyday use across all materials, including abrasive composites like PLA-CF, PETG-CF, and PA-CF.
0.6 mm Hardened Steel (HS) — Faster prints with thicker layers. Ideal for functional parts, enclosures, and larger models where speed matters more than fine surface detail. Excellent throughput with abrasive filaments.
0.8 mm Hardened Steel (HS) — Maximum speed and material flow. Best for large structural parts, draft prototypes, and vase-mode prints where rapid turnaround is the priority.
Complete Hotend vs Nozzle-Only Replacement
If your print quality issues are limited to a worn or clogged nozzle tip, a nozzle-only swap may be sufficient. However, if you’re experiencing temperature fluctuations, filament leaking from the heat block, thermistor errors, or persistent clogs that don’t clear with nozzle changes, the problem is likely deeper in the hotend assembly. The P1 Complete Hotend replaces every component in one swap, eliminating the guesswork of diagnosing which individual part has failed.
It’s also a smart choice to keep as a spare — if your hotend fails mid-project, you can swap the entire assembly and keep printing while you troubleshoot or clean the old one at your convenience.
Why Hardened Steel?
The three hardened steel nozzle options (0.4, 0.6, 0.8 mm) resist the abrasive wear caused by carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-fill, glow-in-the-dark, and other particle-loaded filaments. Standard brass nozzles can wear out in as little as a few hundred grams of abrasive material — hardened steel maintains consistent bore diameter and extrusion accuracy over a much longer service life.
Compatibility
This OEM hotend is compatible with the Bambu Lab P1P and Bambu Lab P1S. It supports nozzle temperatures up to 300°C, making it suitable for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PVA, PA (nylon), PC (polycarbonate), and composite filaments including PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA-CF, and PA-GF.
Note: This hotend is designed for the P1 series. For the A1 and A1 Mini, see our Bambu Lab A1 / A1 Mini Hotend. For the X1 Carbon, see the X1C hotend options.
Installation
Power off the printer and allow the existing hotend to cool completely before removal. Release the hotend from the toolhead, disconnect th
