OEM Hotend for Bambu Lab X1 & P1 Series

Keep your Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, P1P, or P1S running at peak performance with a genuine OEM replacement hotend. This all-metal, high-temperature hotend is designed specifically for the X1 and P1 platform and supports fast printing speeds and abrasive filament types including carbon fibre, glass fibre, and metal-fill composites.

Available in four nozzle sizes — from precision 0.2 mm stainless steel for fine detail work through to 0.8 mm hardened steel for high-volume abrasive filament printing.

Hotend Only — What’s Included and What’s Not

This listing is for the hotend assembly only. The heater cartridge, thermistor, and cooling fan are not included and will need to be transferred from your existing hotend or purchased separately. This option is ideal if your heater and thermistor are still functioning correctly and the issue is limited to the hotend body — a worn nozzle bore, heat creep from a degraded heatbreak, or filament leaking between the nozzle and heat block.

Available Nozzle Options

0.2 mm Stainless Steel (SS) — Maximum resolution for miniatures, fine text, and highly detailed models. Best with non-abrasive filaments like PLA, PETG, and silk. Not recommended for carbon fibre or glass fibre composites.

0.4 mm Hardened Steel (HS) — The standard all-rounder. Balances print speed and detail for everyday printing across all materials, including abrasive composites like PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA-CF, and PA-GF.

0.6 mm Hardened Steel (HS) — Faster prints with thicker layers. Ideal for functional parts, enclosures, and larger models where speed is the priority. Handles abrasive filaments with ease.

0.8 mm Hardened Steel (HS) — Maximum speed and material throughput. Best for large structural parts, draft prototypes, and vase-mode prints.

Hotend Only vs Complete Hotend — Which Do You Need?

Choose this hotend-only listing ($24.99) if:
Your heater and thermistor are working fine and you only need to replace the hotend body and nozzle. You’ll transfer the existing heater and thermistor across to the new hotend during installation.

Choose the complete hotend ($56.99) if:
You’re experiencing temperature errors, thermistor faults, or want a full drop-in swap with no component transfers. The complete hotend includes heater, thermistor, and hotend pre-assembled and ready to install.

Why Hardened Steel?

The three hardened steel nozzle options (0.4, 0.6, 0.8 mm) resist the abrasive wear caused by carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-fill, glow-in-the-dark, and other particle-loaded filaments. Standard brass nozzles wear out quickly with these materials, leading to inconsistent extrusion and dimensional inaccuracy. Hardened steel maintains a precise bore diameter over a much longer service life.

Compatibility

This hotend is compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (X1C), P1P, and P1S. It supports nozzle temperatures up to 300°C, making it suitable for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PVA, PA, PC, and composite filaments.

Installation

Power off the printer and allow the existing hotend to cool completely. Remove the old hotend from the toolhead, transfer your heater cartridge and thermistor to the new hotend body, then install and secure the assembly. Update the nozzle size and material on the printer screen or in Bambu Studio, and run a full calibration for best results.
