Eryone Bi-Colour Matte PLA blends two pigments into a single filament strand, producing prints that shift between two colours depending on the viewing angle, print geometry, and layer direction. Combined with a smooth, non-reflective matte finish that hides layer lines, the result is a print that looks premium straight off the build plate — no painting, no sanding, no finishing required.

Each 1KG spool contains a full kilogram of dual-tone matte filament in your chosen colour combination.

Matte Finish That Hides Layer Lines

The matte surface is one of the biggest advantages of this filament. Standard glossy PLA shows every layer line, especially on curved surfaces and at shallow angles. Matte PLA absorbs light instead of reflecting it, which significantly reduces the visibility of layer lines and gives prints a smooth, professional appearance straight off the print bed.

This makes bi-colour matte PLA especially effective for display models, artistic pieces, cosplay parts, desk toys, and any print where visual quality matters.

Dual-Tone Colour Effect

The bi-colour effect is created by two pigments blended into the filament, producing a gradient that shifts depending on the print geometry, layer direction, and viewing angle. Flat surfaces tend to show one dominant colour, while curves, edges, and angled faces reveal the secondary tone. The result is a print that looks different from every angle — more dynamic and visually interesting than a single solid colour.

The colour transitions happen naturally during printing with no special slicer settings or multi-material setup required. Simply load the spool and print as normal.

Printing Tips

Bi-colour matte PLA prints with standard PLA settings — no special hardware or adjustments needed. Use a nozzle temperature of 190–220°C, bed temperature of 0–60°C, and print speeds up to 200 mm/s. The filament is tangle-free with neat winding for smooth, uninterrupted feeding.

The dual-tone effect is most visible on prints with curved surfaces, organic shapes, and angled geometry. Flat, vertical walls will show less colour variation. For the most dramatic colour-shifting effect, choose models with rounded or complex geometry.
