IckySticky CA Debonder — Dissolves Super Glue on Contact

IckySticky CA Debonder is a clear solvent blend that dissolves both cured and uncured cyanoacrylate (super glue). Apply it to a glued joint and it breaks down the bond, letting you separate misaligned parts, clean up excess adhesive, or safely free accidentally bonded skin — without the damage that comes from prying or pulling.

Every workshop and hobby desk that uses super glue should have a bottle of debonder within reach. Mistakes happen — debonder fixes them.

Larger volume for workshops and heavy users. Best value for anyone who goes through debonder regularly or needs to dissolve larger glue areas.

Common Uses

Separating Misaligned Parts

Glued a part in the wrong position? Apply debonder to the joint, wait for it to penetrate and dissolve the CA bond, then gently separate the parts. This saves the parts from the cracks and breaks that come from forcing them apart.

Cleaning Up Excess Adhesive

CA squeeze-out, drips, and fingerprint marks can be dissolved and wiped away with debonder. Apply, let it work, and wipe clean with a cloth.

De-Bonding Skin

Glued your fingers together or stuck your skin to a part? Apply debonder to the bonded area, let it soak in for a minute, and gently roll the bond apart. Much safer and faster than peeling or using acetone.

Removing Old CA Bonds

When repairing or refurbishing models, debonder dissolves old CA bonds so parts can be cleanly removed and re-bonded in new positions.

What It Works On

Steel, plastic, wood, glass, rubber, aluminium, skin, ceramic, and fibreglass.

Not recommended for painted surfaces — debonder will remove paint. If you need to dissolve CA near a painted area, apply carefully with the brush tip and avoid contact with the painted surface.

How to Use

Apply debonder directly to the cured CA bond using the brush applicator or a precision applicator. Allow 1–3 minutes for the solvent to penetrate and soften the bond. Gently separate the parts or wipe away dissolved adhesive. Repeat if needed for thick or stubborn bonds. The low evaporation rate gives the solvent time to work into the bond before drying.
