IckySticky RC Tyre Glue is a super-thin cyanoacrylate specifically formulated for bonding rubber RC tyres to plastic rims. The ultra-low viscosity and superior wicking action let the glue flow between the tyre bead and the rim edge by capillary action — simply run the precision tip along the seam and the glue draws itself into the joint, creating a complete bond around the entire circumference without needing to peel the tyre off and reapply.
No more tyres peeling off mid-run. No more uneven bonds that cause vibration at speed. One pass around the bead line and it’s done.
The bottle includes 4 precision applicator tips that can be cut to your preferred length and bore size. A longer, finer tip gives you more control when running glue along the tyre bead — especially useful on 1/10 and smaller scale wheels where accuracy matters. When a tip clogs or wears, swap in a fresh one.
Mount the tyre onto the rim fully before gluing. Attach a precision tip to the bottle, hold the wheel so the bead line is accessible, and run the tip along the seam between the tyre and rim. The super-thin formula wicks into the gap by capillary action, bonding the rubber to the plastic along the entire contact surface. Rotate the wheel and repeat on the other side.
Allow 30–60 seconds for the bond to fully cure before handling.
Clean the rim and inside tyre bead with isopropyl alcohol before mounting — oils and mould release from manufacturing reduce bond strength. Work in a well-ventilated area. Apply in thin passes — too much glue pooling around the bead can cause white residue on the tyre sidewall. For instant curing, spray with CA activator after application.
