Magigoo PC — Purpose-Built Adhesive for Polycarbonate Printing

Magigoo PC is a professional-grade bed adhesive designed exclusively for polycarbonate-type filaments — including pure PC, filled polycarbonates, and PC alloys such as PC-ABS. Polycarbonate is one of the toughest, most heat-resistant FDM materials available, but it’s also notoriously difficult to keep stuck to the bed. Magigoo PC solves this at the source, ensuring prints stick firmly while the bed is hot and release cleanly once it cools.

Why PC Needs a Dedicated Adhesive

Virgin polycarbonate has a high glass transition temperature, which is exactly what gives it strength and heat resistance in the finished part — but it’s also what makes it so difficult to print reliably on a desktop machine. PC warps considerably when bed temperature is insufficient (below approximately 130°C) or when printed in an unheated enclosure without proper bed adhesion. Generic glue sticks and general-purpose adhesives simply aren’t formulated to handle this combination of high temperature and PC’s specific bonding characteristics.

Also Effective on ASA & CPE HT

While formulated primarily for polycarbonate, Magigoo PC also performs well with ASA and CPE HT — two other engineering materials that share similar high-temperature adhesion challenges to standard PC.

Thermal Release — No Fighting to Remove Parts

Like other Magigoo formulas, PC uses an engineered thermal response: strong adhesion while the bed is hot, followed by a controlled reduction in grip as the bed cools. In most cases the part becomes easy to remove by hand once cooled. If a part doesn’t lift off easily, a part removal tool can be used to gently lift it — and if you’ve used a brim, peel that off first before attempting to remove the print itself.

Works on Glass & Multiple Surfaces

Magigoo PC can be applied to glass beds as well as a range of other plastic-based build surfaces, including flexible sheets — helping prevent the print from fusing irreversibly to sheet-based build surfaces, which is a common (and expensive) failure point when printing PC without a proper adhesive.

Long-Lasting — Over 100 Applications

A single 50ml bottle delivers more than 100 applications, making it a genuinely economical solution for regular polycarbonate printing rather than a one-off convenience purchase.

How to Use

Shake the bottle before use. Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib on the bed to activate the internal valve, then spread evenly across the print area. Print according to your filament and printer manufacturer’s recommendations — no drying time is needed before starting.

Do not squeeze the bottle — this can cause the applicator to pop off. Apply using gentle pressure on the nib only.

Cleaning

Wipe off residue with a damp cloth until the surface is clean. Only use water to clean Magigoo residue — other solvents are not recommended and won’t work as effectively. If switching between different Magigoo formulas on a glass plate, wipe the surface once more after rinsing your cloth to avoid cross-contamination between adhesive types.
