Description

TZ Hardened Steel Nozzle for Bambu Lab X1C / P1P / P1S — TZ 1.0, 2.0 & 3.0

This hardened steel nozzle is a direct replacement for the TZ-style hotends used in Bambu Lab X1C, P1P, and P1S printers — compatible with TZ 1.0, TZ 2.0, and TZ 3.0 hotend generations. Hardened steel resists the abrasive wear that carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-fill, glow-in-the-dark, and other particle-loaded filaments inflict on brass, maintaining a precise bore diameter over hundreds of hours.

Check Your Hotend Version Before Ordering

This nozzle fits TZ 1.0, TZ 2.0, and TZ 3.0 hotends only. It is NOT compatible with TZ 4.0 hotends.

To check which TZ version your printer uses, look at the hotend assembly — the TZ 4.0 has a different nozzle interface that is not backwards compatible with earlier versions. If you have a newer X1C, P1S, or P1P that shipped with or has been upgraded to a TZ 4.0 hotend, this nozzle will not fit.

Available Sizes

0.2 mm

Ultra-fine detail for miniatures, text, and high-resolution models. Best for non-abrasive filaments — the small bore increases clogging risk with particle-loaded materials.

0.4 mm

The standard all-rounder. Balances detail and speed for everyday printing across all materials including carbon fibre and glass fibre composites.

0.6 mm

Faster functional prints with higher throughput. Recommended for abrasive filaments where the wider bore reduces clogging risk.

0.8 mm

Maximum speed and material throughput for large parts, draft prototypes, and vase-mode prints.

Why Hardened Steel Over Brass?

Brass nozzles wear quickly with abrasive filaments — the bore widens, extrusion becomes inconsistent, and dimensional accuracy drops. Hardened steel sacrifices a small amount of thermal conductivity for dramatically improved wear resistance. If you print carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-fill, or glow-in-the-dark filaments regularly, hardened steel pays for itself after the first spool.

For non-abrasive filaments like PLA, PETG, and ABS, brass is perfectly fine and offers marginally better thermal performance.

Compatibility

Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (X1C) — with TZ 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 hotend
Bambu Lab P1P — with TZ 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 hotend
Bambu Lab P1S — with TZ 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 hotend

NOT compatible with: TZ 4.0 hotends, Bambu Lab A1 or A1 Mini (different hotend interface), H2 series, or any non-TZ hotend.
