Magigoo Pro Flex — The Adhesive Made for Flexible Filaments

Magigoo Pro Flex is a professional-grade adhesive designed exclusively for TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), and TPC (thermoplastic copolyester) filaments — a group of materials that create two opposite adhesion problems on standard build surfaces: some barely stick at all and warp badly, while others fuse so aggressively to glass or PEI that removal risks damaging the part or the plate.

Magigoo Pro Flex solves both problems at once, creating a controlled bond that delivers strong first-layer adhesion during printing and clean, easy removal once the part has cooled.

Why Flexible Filaments Need Their Own Adhesive

TPU, TPE, and TPC are thermoplastic rubbers — co-polymers or polymer blends combining plastic and rubber properties, which is what gives them the ability to stretch and return to shape. That same molecular structure creates unpredictable bed adhesion: some flexible filaments show poor adhesion and a strong tendency to warp, while others bond too aggressively to bare glass or PEI surfaces. Magigoo Pro Flex acts as an intermediate layer between the build plate and the printed part, standardising adhesion behaviour regardless of which extreme your specific filament brand tends toward.

Tested Across Multiple Flex Filament Brands

Magigoo Pro Flex has been developed and tested to work with a wide range of flexible filament brands and types — not tuned for one specific TPU formulation, but validated as a general-purpose solution for the flexible filament category as a whole.

Clean Removal — The Print Should Pop Right Off

Once the print has cooled, it’s designed to release cleanly from the plate. If a part shows excess adhesion and doesn’t lift off easily, wet the print bed with a small amount of water and slowly work it beneath the part — this loosens the bond and makes removal significantly easier. For larger prints or filaments with a high shrinkage rate, a 20mm brim is recommended for extra insurance during the print itself.

Works on Common Build Surfaces

Effective on glass, PEI, and other common 3D printing build surfaces, making it broadly compatible regardless of which build plate your printer uses.

How to Use

Shake the bottle before use. Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib on the bed to activate the internal valve, then spread evenly across the print area. Print according to your filament and printer manufacturer’s recommendations.

Do not squeeze the bottle — this can cause the applicator to pop off. Apply using gentle pressure on the nib only.

Important — Flexible Filaments Only

Using this product with filament types other than TPU, TPE, or TPC can cause over-adhesion and damage your build surface. For PLA, PETG, ABS, PC, PA, or PP, use the appropriate Magigoo formula for that material instead.

Cleaning

Wipe off residue with a damp cloth. Only use water to clean Magigoo residue — other solvents are not recommended and won’t work as effectively.
