TZ Nozzle Advantage

The TZ nozzle is engineered for improved thermal efficiency over the stock brass nozzle. The optimised internal geometry promotes consistent filament melting and reduces the pressure variations that cause inconsistent extrusion, blobbing, and stringing. The result is cleaner outer walls, sharper corners, and more predictable print quality across different materials and speeds.

Enhanced Heatbreak Design

The upgraded heatbreak improves the thermal transition between the cold zone and the melt zone. This sharper thermal boundary reduces the risk of heat creep — the gradual softening of filament above the melt zone that leads to jams and clogs, especially during slower prints or when printing materials like PETG and TPU that are prone to sticking.

Supported Materials

The all-metal hotend construction supports nozzle temperatures up to 320°C, making it compatible with a wide range of 1.75 mm filaments including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, and wood-fill. The improved thermal stability is particularly noticeable when printing higher-temperature materials like ABS and ASA, where consistent heat delivery is critical for strong layer bonding and minimal warping.

Installation

Allow the existing hotend to cool completely before removal — removing it while hot can pull molten filament into the throat and cause blockages. Disconnect the heater and thermistor wiring, release the hotend, and swap in the TZ upgrade kit. Reconnect the wiring and you’re ready to print. The entire process takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
