Description
E3D High Flow ObXidian® Nozzle — Premium Performance for Creality K2 Series
The E3D High Flow ObXidian® nozzle is the result of an official collaboration between E3D and Creality — a premium nozzle assembly engineered for maximum flow, extreme wear resistance, and high-speed printing up to 600 mm/s on the Creality K2 Plus, K2, K2 Pro, and Creality Hi printers.
This isn’t a standard nozzle upgrade. It’s a complete all-metal integrated nozzle and heatbreak assembly with E3D’s multi-channel internal design, ObXidian® hardened steel insert with E3DLC™ coating, and a titanium heatbreak — the best nozzle technology E3D makes, designed specifically for the K2 platform.
Multi-Channel High Flow — Up to 48 mm³/s
E3D’s multi-channel design splits the filament path into four separate internal channels, dramatically increasing the surface area in contact with the filament as it passes through the melt zone. More contact area means faster, more even melting — achieving a maximum volumetric flow rate of up to 48 mm³/s and supporting print speeds up to 600 mm/s.
This is the nozzle that removes the flow bottleneck from your K2 Plus, letting the printer run at its full mechanical speed without the under-extrusion, rough surfaces, and weak layer bonding that standard nozzles produce at elevated speeds.
ObXidian® — Extreme Wear Resistance
The ObXidian® hardened steel insert paired with E3D’s proprietary E3DLC™ coating delivers wear resistance orders of magnitude higher than any other E3D nozzle. Carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-fill, glow-in-the-dark — the materials that chew through brass and even standard hardened steel nozzles barely register on the ObXidian® surface.
The E3DLC™ coating also embeds non-stick properties into the nozzle itself, meaning considerably less plastic buildup around the nozzle tip. Less buildup means fewer blobs on prints, less maintenance, and more reliable unattended printing.
Titanium Heatbreak — No Heat Creep
The integrated titanium heatbreak creates a sharp thermal gradient between the hot and cold zones, keeping the cold side cool while the hot side stays hot. This eliminates heat creep — the gradual softening of filament above the melt zone that causes jams, especially during long prints and with materials like PETG and TPU that are prone to sticking.
Strong Prints at High Speed
High-speed printing often sacrifices interlayer adhesion strength in favour of speed. These nozzles are engineered to maintain strong layer bonding even at elevated speeds, producing parts with the correct surface finish and mechanical strength for functional applications — not just fast but weak prototypes.
Available Sizes
0.4 mm
The all-rounder. Maximum detail with high-flow throughput for everyday fast printing across all materials.
0.6 mm
Faster functional prints with excellent throughput. Recommended for carbon fibre and glass fibre composites to reduce clogging risk while maintaining good detail.
0.8 mm
Maximum speed and material throughput for large structural parts, draft prototypes, and vase-mode prints.
Compatibility
Creality K2 Plus
Creality K2
Creality K2 Pro
Creality Hi
Not compatible with K1, K1C, K1 Max, Ender 3, or other Creality models.
Supported Materials
PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PP, PC, PLA-CF, PA-CF, PET-CF, and all standard and reinforced filaments. The ObXidian® coating handles abrasive composites that would destroy lesser nozzles.
Installation
The all-metal integrated design facilitates quick nozzle changes in under 5 minutes. No hot-tightening required — the integrated nozzle and heatbreak assembly swaps as a single unit.
