This USB rechargeable electric vacuum pump removes air from vacuum storage bags quickly and effortlessly, creating an airtight seal that protects your 3D printing filament from moisture absorption. Simply place the nozzle over the bag’s valve, press the button, and the pump extracts the air in seconds — no manual pumping, no hand cramps, no hassle.

Moisture is the enemy of good print quality. Filaments like nylon, PETG, TPU, PVA, and carbon fibre composites absorb moisture from the air, leading to stringing, popping, bubbling, rough surfaces, and weakened layer adhesion. Vacuum sealing your filament when it’s not in use is the simplest way to prevent moisture damage and keep every spool printing like new.

The built-in rechargeable battery charges via USB, so there’s no need for mains power or disposable batteries. Charge it once and it handles dozens of vacuum seal cycles before needing a top-up. How to Use

Place your filament spool inside a vacuum storage bag with a silica gel desiccant packet (sold separately). Close the bag’s zip seal, place the pump nozzle over the one-way valve on the bag, and press the power button. The pump extracts the air in seconds, compressing the bag tightly around the spool. The one-way valve keeps the vacuum sealed — air stays out until you manually open the bag.

For best results, pair with a desiccant packet inside the bag to absorb any residual moisture trapped with the spool.

Works With Standard Vacuum Bags

This pump is compatible with standard vacuum storage bags that have a round valve port, including our vacuum bag and pump combo. It does not work with bags that require a channel-seal design or bags without a valve.

Why Vacuum Seal Your Filament?

Even filaments that seem fine can absorb enough moisture to affect print quality over days or weeks of open storage — particularly in humid climates. Vacuum sealing removes the air and moisture around the spool, dramatically slowing absorption and keeping filament in print-ready condition for months. It’s especially important for hygroscopic materials like nylon (PA), TPU, PVA, PETG, and PC, but benefits all filament types including PLA and ASA.
