Description

Bimetallic Hardened Steel Nozzle for Anycubic Kobra X / Kobra 4

This compatible bimetallic nozzle is a direct quick-release upgrade for the Anycubic Kobra X and Kobra 4, combining a hardened steel tip with a bimetallic body design that reduces heat transfer from the heating block to the upper hotend section. It’s built to handle abrasive filaments like carbon fibre while maintaining the thermal stability and leak-free extrusion the Kobra X’s snap-lock hotend system was designed around.

Bimetallic Design — Reduced Heat Transfer

The bimetallic construction limits heat conduction from the heating block up into the cold zone, helping stabilise the temperature gradient along the nozzle and reducing the risk of heat creep — filament softening prematurely above the melt zone and causing jams. This is particularly valuable on a high-speed printer like the Kobra X, where consistent thermal separation matters more than on slower machines.

Hardened Steel — Handles Abrasive Filaments

The nozzle tip is constructed from hardened steel, offering genuine durability and wear resistance for carbon fibre and other abrasive composite filaments — maintaining a precise bore over far more print hours than a standard brass nozzle when printing filled materials regularly.

Leak-Proof Integrated Construction

The all-metal integrated design uses special joint treatment to prevent leakage and clogging, with a seamless one-piece structure for stable extrusion. A mirror-polished inner bore reduces friction and material buildup, helping prevent jams and keep filament feeding smooth and consistent.

Available Sizes

0.2mm

Fine detail printing for miniatures and high-resolution models.

0.4mm

The standard all-rounder — matches the Kobra X’s factory-installed nozzle size, balancing detail and speed across all materials including carbon fibre.

0.6mm

Higher throughput for faster functional prints, with reduced clogging risk on heavily filled abrasive filaments.

0.8mm

Maximum flow for large parts, vase-mode, and draft prints where speed matters more than fine detail.

Quick-Release Installation

The Kobra X uses a snap-lock, quick-release hotend system. Simply open the hot-end lock, remove the old nozzle, and swap in the new one — no tools, no hot tightening, no complicated disassembly. This nozzle is designed to be quick-detachable and plug-and-play, allowing easy replacement in seconds.

Compatibility

Anycubic Kobra X
Anycubic Kobra X Combo
Anycubic Kobra 4

Not compatible with the Kobra S1 Max, Kobra 2, Kobra 3, or other Anycubic models — those printers use different nozzle interfaces.
