We’ve done a trial run of Basic Matte filament range and it has been a great success with no customer complaints or issues with print quality. We have now extended the Basic filament range to PLA, Transparent PLA and PETG. We will continue expanding the Basic range – next shipment, we will have Basic ABS, Basic PC+, Basic PA6 and Basic PA12 at ultra affordable prices.
What is Basic Filament? It is a low cost, no thrills filament that prints beautifully on any printer. The filament are on cardboard spools which works well on AMS and AMS Lite multicolour units. The cardboard spools are extra thick with a solid wax sealed edge to ensure they work with AMS rollers. We have not had any issues with the cardboard spools working with the AMS units.
Unfortunately, due to low profit margins on Basic filament, we are unable to do bulk discounts.
Our normal filament range will continue as usual as this is for customers who want a more premium filament at excellent pricing.
