BIQU PopCap Top Cover for Snapmaker U1 — Heat, Quiet, and a Clear View

The BIQU PopCap is a clear top cover built for the Snapmaker U1. It seals the top of the printer to hold chamber heat, block drafts, and cut noise, giving the U1 the stable thermal environment that engineering filaments like ABS, nylon, and PC need to print without warping, splitting, or shrinking.

This kit includes four spools of filament so you can start printing straight away.

Total Thermal Control

The PopCap seals the top of the U1 to stop heat escaping and keep ambient drafts out. A steadier chamber temperature means less warping, less layer splitting, and more consistent results on materials that are sensitive to temperature swings. Owners report holding a steady chamber around 55–56°C while printing PAHT-CF and PA6-CF with the nozzle at 290°C and the bed at 100°C.

120°C Heat-Resistant PC

The cover is made from polycarbonate rated to 120°C, so it handles long, hot prints without softening or distorting.

Crystal-Clear 360° View

The transparent cover lets you watch every print from any angle without opening it up. It’s much easier to monitor progress than with an opaque box or home-made enclosure.

Noise Reduction — Around 15dB Quieter

The U1 is a busy machine with its constant toolhead changes. The PopCap reduces noise by around 15dB (from roughly 65dB down to 50dB), making it far more comfortable to run in a shared space, workshop, or home office.

Magnetic Quick-Access Hatch

A magnetically held front hatch flips open for effortless part removal and maintenance, with no screws, clips, or lifting the whole cover.

Works With PLA and PETG Too

Low-temperature materials don’t want a hot sealed chamber. For PLA and PETG, leave the top hatch open so heat can escape, and you still get the noise reduction and dust protection. The cover also keeps dust out when the machine isn’t in use.

Ecosystem Ready

Dedicated pass-through ports let you run the Panda Breath chamber heater and filter through the cover. The cover also includes integrated mounts for the Panda Touch screen.

Built-In Organiser Tray

A tray on the top of the cover keeps your most-used tools within reach.
