Description
Adhesive Reference Markers for Accurate 3D Scanning
High-reflectivity adhesive dot markers that stick directly to the object being scanned, giving your 3D scanner fixed reference points to track position and align multiple scan passes. Place them on or around the scan area, and the scanner uses their consistent reflectance to maintain precise point tracking — even on complex, featureless, or low-contrast surfaces where geometry-based alignment alone would struggle.
Each sheet contains 50 dots arranged in a grid for easy peeling. Available in four pack sizes to suit any project scale.
Pack Sizes
5 Sheets = 250 reflective dots
10 Sheets = 500 reflective dots
20 Sheets = 1,000 reflective dots
50 Sheets = 2,500 reflective dots
Choose the size that matches your scanning volume. The 50-sheet option offers the best per-dot value for high-volume or professional use.
Why Adhesive Markers?
Adhesive markers stick directly to any surface — metal, plastic, wood, composites, and painted parts — making them ideal for scanning non-ferrous objects where magnetic markers won’t hold. They conform to curved and irregular surfaces, and their strong adhesive keeps them in place during scanning without shifting or lifting.
After scanning, they peel off cleanly without leaving residue, so there’s no cleanup or surface damage to the scanned part.
High-Brightness Reflective Film
Each marker uses a silver-white reflective PET film with densely arranged glass beads for strong, consistent reflectance across a wide viewing angle. The high-contrast black border ensures clean edge detection so the scanner can pinpoint each marker’s centre accurately. This level of reflectivity works reliably in varying lighting conditions and at different scanner distances.
6 x 10mm Size
Each marker has a 6 mm reflective inner dot within a 10 mm outer diameter — compact enough to use on small and medium objects without obscuring surface detail, while large enough for reliable detection by all major scanner brands.
Wide Scanner Compatibility
These markers work with any structured light or laser 3D scanner that supports retroreflective reference targets, including Artec Leo and Artec Eva, Revopoint RANGE and POP series, Creality Raptor, Creaform HandySCAN, Shining3D EinScan series, and most other photogrammetry and metrology systems.
Ideal Applications
Product design and prototyping — accurate scans for reverse engineering and CAD modelling
Quality control and mechanical inspection — precise measurements from scan data
Heritage documentation — archiving artefacts, sculptures, and architectural elements
Large industrial parts — maintaining alignment across complex, multi-pass scans
Curved, smooth, or featureless surfaces — where geometry-based alignment alone isn’t enough
Adhesive vs Magnetic Markers — Which to Choose
We stock both adhesive and magnetic reflective dot markers. Adhesive markers stick to any surface and are ideal for non-ferrous materials like plastic, wood, and aluminium. Magnetic markers are reusable and best for steel or iron surfaces where you want to avoid single-use consumables. For maximum flexibility, keep both types on hand.
