Replacement X & Z Axis Belt Kit for Creality Ender-3 V3 Plus

This synchronous belt kit includes replacement belts for the X and Z axes on the Creality Ender-3 V3 Plus. The V3 Plus uses belt-driven Z axis motion rather than the traditional lead screw found on older Ender 3 models, meaning both axes rely on timing belts for precise positioning.

Timing belts wear over time — stretching, losing tension, and developing tooth wear that causes dimensional inaccuracy, layer shifting, Z banding, and inconsistent layer heights. Replacing worn belts restores precise motion control across both axes.

When to Replace

Visible wear, fraying, or cracking on belt teeth or backing, layer shifting on the X axis, Z banding or inconsistent layer heights from Z axis belt wear, belt tension that won’t hold after re-tensioning, and as part of preventative maintenance after extended use.

Compatibility

This belt kit is designed specifically for the Creality Ender-3 V3 Plus. It is not compatible with the Ender-3 V3, Ender-3 V3 SE, Ender-3 V3 KE, or older Ender 3 models — those printers use different belt lengths and Z axis configurations.

Installation

Power off the printer. Release existing belt tension, remove the old belts, route the new belts along the same path, and re-tension. Ensure teeth are properly seated on pulleys and idlers with no twisting. Tension should be firm but not overtight.
