Replacement X & Y Axis Belt Kit for Anycubic Kobra 3 Max

This timing belt kit includes replacement belts for both the X and Y axes on the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max. Over hundreds of hours of printing, timing belts stretch, lose tension, and develop wear on the tooth surfaces — causing dimensional inaccuracy, layer shifting, ringing artifacts, and inconsistent positioning that worsens gradually.

The Kobra 3 Max’s large 420 × 420 mm build area means longer belt runs and higher demand on belt precision. Worn belts on a large-format printer have a more noticeable impact on print quality than on smaller machines, making regular belt maintenance especially important.

When to Replace

Visible wear, fraying, or cracking on belt teeth or backing, layer shifting that isn’t caused by loose pulleys or stepper issues, ringing or ghosting artifacts — particularly noticeable on large prints, belt tension that won’t hold after re-tensioning, and as part of preventative maintenance after extended use.

Compatibility

This belt kit is designed specifically for the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max. It is not compatible with the Kobra 3, Kobra 3 Combo, Kobra 2 Pro, Kobra S1, or other Anycubic models — those printers use different belt lengths.

Installation

Power off the printer. Release existing belt tension, remove the old belts, route the new belts along the same path, and re-tension. Ensure teeth are properly seated on pulleys and idlers with no twisting. Tension should be firm but not overtight.
