The BIGTREETECH Panda Knomi 3D is a compact smart display that mounts on your Bambu Lab A1 or A1 Mini print head and shows real-time printer status with animated GIF feedback. It displays 15 unique status indicators — print progress, nozzle temperature, bed temperature, homing, levelling, and more — all on a vibrant 1.28-inch HD screen with a 178° viewing angle that’s readable from any position in the room.

It connects wirelessly over Wi-Fi and draws power directly from the printer’s native port, so there are no extra cables or power adapters to deal with. Plug it in, connect to your network, and it starts working.

What the Knomi Shows You

The Knomi displays real-time feedback for every stage of the printing process. At a glance you can see current print progress and estimated time remaining, nozzle and bed temperatures, printer state — homing, levelling, heating, printing, paused, complete, and error conditions. Each state is represented by a distinct animated indicator, making it easy to read printer status from across the room without checking your phone or computer.

Customisable GIF Animations & UI Colours

The Knomi isn’t just functional — it’s personal. Upload your own GIF animations to replace the default status indicators, and change the UI colour scheme to match your printer or workspace aesthetic. All customisation is done through a web-based interface over Wi-Fi. Want a dancing cat to celebrate finished prints? A spinning logo for your maker brand? The Knomi supports it.

Transparent Matte Shell Included

This listing includes the Panda Knomi 3D display plus a transparent matte shell designed for the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 Mini. The semi-transparent frosted shell blends with the printer’s aesthetic while protecting the display. The shell mounts to the print head for a clean, integrated look with no loose parts or dangling cables.

OTA Updates

The Knomi receives regular over-the-air firmware updates from BIGTREETECH, adding new features, optimisations, and compatibility improvements. Updates are applied by dragging and dropping the firmware file — no technical knowledge required.

Compatibility

This listing (Knomi 3D + Shell) is designed for the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 Mini. The display plugs directly into the printer’s AMS port for power and data — no additional cables or adapters needed.

For the P1 series (P1P, P1S), a USB-A to USB-C cable is required (sold separately). For the X1 series (X1C), the Panda Branch expansion board is required (sold separately).

Note: The Panda Knomi uses non-critical status communication protocols and is not affected by Bambu Lab’s authentication firmware updates.
