Bambu Lab Cool Plate (SuperTack) Pro — The Upgraded SuperTack Coating
The Cool Plate SuperTack Pro takes Bambu Lab’s original SuperTack formula further, delivering ultra-strong adhesion to PLA and PETG filaments at even lower heatbed temperatures. It eliminates common adhesion failures, reduces warping on large objects, and performs reliably even on plate surfaces that aren’t in perfect condition — all without needing glue or frequent cleaning.
Stronger Adhesion, Lower Bed Temperatures
SuperTack Pro’s coating requires only an extremely low heatbed temperature to secure printed objects reliably. This translates directly into energy savings during heating — lower power bills, and a smaller environmental footprint per print — while also reducing thermal stress on parts that can otherwise contribute to warping on large, flat prints.
Supports PLA Silk+
Unlike the original SuperTack plate, SuperTack Pro’s improved coating supports Bambu PLA Silk+ thanks to that filament’s enhanced layer adhesion characteristics. Other PLA Silk materials still exhibit strong adhesion on this plate that can damage printed models during removal, so for third-party PLA Silk filaments, select the Generic PLA Silk preset in Bambu Studio and evaluate compatibility based on your specific material.
Durable Coating, Minimal Maintenance
SuperTack Pro provides reliable adhesion without needing adhesive or frequent cleaning. If heavy dirt or residue builds up, clean the surface with water and dish soap.
Do NOT use organic solvents — especially acetone — to clean this plate. Acetone will damage the SuperTack Pro coating.
Before Auto-Levelling
Repeatedly rub the nozzle in the plate’s designated wiping area to fully clear residual material from the nozzle tip before auto-levelling begins. The coating in this wiping area will gradually wear over time — this is expected and doesn’t affect print quality or nozzle lifespan.
Consumable Part
Like all coated build surfaces, SuperTack Pro is considered a consumable part that will gradually degrade with regular use. Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects present on arrival, not cosmetic wear such as scratches, dents, or cracks that develop through normal use.

This listing covers the 256×256mm size for the A1, P1, X1, and P2S/X2D platform. SuperTack Pro is also available in 350×350mm and 350×320mm sizes for larger-format Bambu Lab printers — check you’re ordering the correct size for your specific printer model.
