Description
AESUB Diamond Scanning Spray — For Jewellery & Very Small Parts
AESUB Diamond is a self-vanishing scanning spray purpose-built for the jewellery industry and other applications involving very small, delicate, or highly detailed objects. It temporarily coats transparent, translucent, reflective, or otherwise difficult-to-scan surfaces with an ultra-thin, optically ideal matte layer — letting 3D scanners and digitisation systems capture accurate geometry from surfaces that would otherwise confuse the scanner entirely.
Once scanning is complete, the coating sublimates away on its own within 15–30 minutes, leaving no residue and requiring no cleanup.
Why Scanning Sprays Are Necessary
Optical 3D scanners struggle with reflective, transparent, and translucent surfaces — metal jewellery, gemstones, glass, and polished small components scatter or pass light in ways that confuse structured-light and laser scanning systems. AESUB Diamond solves this by creating a temporary, uniform matte surface that scans cleanly and accurately, without altering or damaging the underlying object.
Ultra-Thin, Ultra-Precise — 2µm Layer
At just 2 microns thick, the AESUB Diamond coating is thin enough to preserve fine surface detail on small, intricate objects like rings, gemstone settings, and precision components — thicker sprays can mask fine detail on this scale, but the Diamond formula is specifically engineered for accuracy at jewellery-level precision. The coating even allows reference points/markers to adhere directly to its surface.
Pigment-Free & Titanium Dioxide-Free
Unlike conventional matting sprays, AESUB Diamond contains no pigments and no titanium dioxide — eliminating the risk of pigment contamination on scanners, equipment, and the objects themselves. This matters particularly for jewellery, where the item often needs to be handled, tried on, or returned to a customer immediately after scanning with zero visible residue or discolouration.
Fast, Self-Vanishing Formula
Scan time: approximately 10 minutes
Full sublimation: approximately 15–30 minutes
The spray evaporates naturally and completely on its own — no wiping, no solvents, no risk of scratching a delicate or polished surface during cleanup. This also means you can scan an item on-site and hand it straight back without needing to transport it elsewhere for cleaning.
How to Apply
Spray from approximately 5–10cm away, gently pressing the nozzle and moving the can across the surface in even, back-and-forth strokes at a consistent pace. Cover the entire area you intend to scan. Allow the coating to settle briefly before scanning.
Applications
Jewellery scanning — rings, settings, gemstones, and precious metal items
Small precision components in metrology and quality control
Transparent, translucent, or highly reflective parts that resist standard scanning
On-site scanning of delicate items that can’t be handled or transported for cleaning
Any small-scale 3D scanning application where fine detail and zero residue both matter

Safety
Do not spray near open flame or ignition sources. Do not puncture or burn the can, even after use. Protect from sunlight and avoid temperatures exceeding 50°C. Repeated skin exposure may cause dryness or cracking — use in a ventilated area and avoid prolonged skin contact.
