Description
The Safer Permanent Scanning Spray — Without Compromise
When your scanning application demands a coating that stays in place — for complex multi-session scans, high-vibration environments, or jobs where coating stability is critical — a self-volatilising spray simply isn’t the right tool. AESUB White is AESUB’s permanent scanning spray, delivering a stable, high-contrast matte coating that remains on the surface until you choose to remove it.
What sets AESUB White apart from conventional permanent scanning sprays isn’t just performance — it’s safety. Traditional permanent sprays use titanium dioxide (TiO2) nano particles as the matting agent. The European Chemicals Agency has associated TiO2 nano particles with carcinogenic risk through inhalation. AESUB White is completely free of TiO2, eliminating this risk while still delivering superior optical performance.
The result is a thinner, more homogeneous coating layer with optimal contrast values for structured light and laser scanning — setting a new standard for what a permanent scanning spray can achieve.
Important: As a permanent spray containing pigments, AESUB White must not be applied near scanners or sensitive equipment. Coated parts require cleaning after scanning.
Features:
- Permanent Formula — coating remains stable until manually cleaned
- TiO2-Free — no titanium dioxide nano particles, safer for users
- Superior Homogeneity — thinner, more even coating than traditional permanent sprays
- Optimised Contrast — engineered for maximum performance in optical scanning
- Material Compatible — formulated with material compatibility in mind
- Easy Cleanup — soft brush, water, and towel — no solvents required
- Expert Developed — formulated and approved by professional scanning specialists
Specifications:

| Formula Type | Permanent — pigment-based |
| TiO2 Content | None — TiO2-free |
| Coating Type | Thin, homogeneous white matte |
| Cleanup Required | ✅ Yes — water, soft brush, towel |
| Application Distance | 15–20cm |
| Shake Before Use | ✅ Yes — shake until loud noise |
| Best For | Multi-session scans, permanent coating applications |
| Not Suitable Near | Sensors and sensitive equipment |
| Compatible Scanners | All structured light and laser scanners |
How to Use:
- Shake — Shake well until you hear a loud noise from the mixing ball inside
- Spray — Apply from 15–20cm using even back-and-forth strokes. Move at a consistent pace — do not pause at one point. Cover the entire surface to be scanned
- Scan — Begin scanning once the coating is stable and white
- Clean — AESUB White is permanent. Clean coated parts after scanning using a soft brush with water and a towel. Parts not cleaned must be disposed of
⚠️ Important: AESUB White is a permanent spray containing pigments. Do not spray near scanners, sensors, or sensitive equipment. Pigments will contaminate nearby surfaces and equipment.

💡 Choose AESUB White when your scan job requires a coating that won’t evaporate mid-session, or when you need maximum coating stability for complex, multi-pass, or high-vibration scanning environments.
Ideal for:
- Multi-session and long-duration scanning jobs
- High-vibration or outdoor scanning environments
- Applications where coating stability is critical
- Industrial metrology requiring permanent reference coating
- Situations where self-volatilising sprays evaporate too quickly
