This ceramic heater and thermistor assembly is a direct replacement for the heating and temperature sensing components in the Flashforge Adventurer 5M and 5M Pro hotend. It restores fast, stable heating and accurate temperature control — fixing common issues like temperature errors, slow heat-up, fluctuating nozzle readings, and thermistor faults.
Temperature error codes on the printer screen, nozzle temperature fluctuating during printing, slow or inconsistent heat-up to target temperature, thermistor readings showing abnormal or erratic values, and the printer refusing to start due to thermal safety faults.
If cleaning and reseating the connector doesn’t resolve the issue, the heater/thermistor assembly is the most likely failed component.
This kit is designed for the Flashforge Adventurer 5M and Adventurer 5M Pro. It is not compatible with the AD5X, AD4, AD3, or other Flashforge models — those printers use different heater configurations.
Power off the printer and allow the hotend to cool completely. Disconnect the old heater/thermistor assembly, remove from the hotend, install the new unit, and reconnect. No soldering required. Run a PID auto-tune after installation for optimal temperature stability.
