IckySticky CA Activator — Instant Cure for Super Glue

IckySticky CA Activator is a spray accelerator that instantly cures cyanoacrylate (super glue) on contact. Spray it on one surface, apply CA to the other, press together, and the bond is immediate — no waiting, no holding, no hoping the parts don’t shift while the glue sets.

It transforms thick CA from a slow-setting gap filler into an instant structural repair material. Apply thick CA, spray activator, and it’s rock solid in seconds. This technique is used extensively in RC building, model making, and 3D print repairs for rapid bonding and filling.

How to Use

Two-Surface Method (Strongest)

Spray activator on one surface. Apply CA glue to the other surface. Press the two surfaces together — the bond cures instantly on contact. This produces the strongest bond because both surfaces are active.

Post-Application Method

Apply CA glue to the joint, then spray activator over the top. The CA cures instantly from the outside in. This is the preferred method when using thick CA as a gap filler — apply the CA, shape it if needed, then spray to lock it in place.

Tips

Use sparingly — a light mist is all that’s needed. Too much activator can cause the CA to cure too quickly with a weaker, more brittle bond. Hold the spray 10–15 cm from the surface for even coverage.

Important: This is standard CA activator. Do not use on foam — it can damage foam materials. For foam applications, use the IckySticky Foam Safe Activator instead.
