Description
Nozzle Cleaning Needles — Clear Clogs and Keep Your Nozzle Flowing
These precision cleaning needles are the fastest way to clear a clogged or partially blocked 3D printer nozzle. Insert the needle into the heated nozzle to break up and push through carbonised filament, debris, and partial blockages that cause under-extrusion, inconsistent flow, and failed prints.
Available in 0.2 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.6mm and 0.8mm to match your nozzle size. 10 needles per pack — keep spares at every printer.
When to Use Nozzle Cleaning Needles
Under-extrusion that doesn’t improve with temperature or flow rate changes, thin or missing lines in the first layer despite correct bed levelling, inconsistent extrusion — thick and thin sections in the same print, clicking from the extruder as it struggles to push filament through a restricted nozzle, partial clog after printing with abrasive, wood-fill, or glow-in-the-dark filaments, and as routine preventative maintenance before starting critical prints.
How to Use
Hot Needle Method
Heat the nozzle to printing temperature (e.g. 210°C for PLA, 240°C for PETG). Insert the cleaning needle into the nozzle from below. Gently push and rotate to break up the blockage. Withdraw the needle — carbonised debris comes with it. Repeat until the needle passes through freely. Extrude some filament to flush any remaining particles.
Preventative Use
Run a cleaning needle through the heated nozzle periodically — especially after printing with wood-fill, glow-in-the-dark, or other particle-loaded filaments that leave residue. A quick clean takes 10 seconds and prevents partial clogs from developing into full blockages.
Universal Compatibility
These needles work with every FDM 3D printer nozzle — Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, ELEGOO, Flashforge, Qidi, and all others. The cleaning method is the same regardless of printer brand or nozzle type.
