The BIQU Panda Brush PX and Purge Shield are two complementary upgrades for the Bambu Lab X1 and P1 series that solve the messy side of multi-material printing — filament residue on the nozzle tip and purge splatter inside the printer. Together, they keep your nozzle clean between colour and material changes, prevent contamination on the print surface, and reduce the maintenance needed to keep your printer running reliably.

Available as three options — purchase the Brush PX, Purge Shield, or a spare silicone set depending on what you need.

Panda Brush PX — Nozzle Wiper

The Panda Brush PX replaces the stock nozzle wiper with a high-temperature silicone brush system that cleans the nozzle tip more effectively between filament changes. The silicone bristles withstand sustained contact with the heated nozzle without melting or degrading, and they conform to the nozzle shape to remove residue from all sides — not just the tip.

This matters most in multi-colour and multi-material prints where leftover filament from the previous colour can transfer onto the next section of the print, causing colour bleeding and contamination. A cleaner nozzle wipe means cleaner colour transitions and fewer visible artefacts on your finished prints.

The silicone brushes are replaceable — when they eventually wear, swap in a fresh set from the spare silicone pack without replacing the entire unit.

Panda Purge Shield — Splatter Guard

The Purge Shield is a nano-coated stainless steel guard that catches the filament purged during material changes. Without a shield, purged filament can splatter inside the printer enclosure, land on the build plate, or stick to the print itself. The nano coating on the stainless steel surface prevents purged filament from adhering, so it drops away cleanly instead of building up over time.

This keeps the inside of your printer cleaner, reduces maintenance between prints, and prevents purge debris from interfering with ongoing prints. It’s a simple, passive upgrade that pays for itself in reduced cleanup time.

Spare Silicone Set (4pcs)

The silicone brushes on the Panda Brush PX are consumable items that wear over time. This 4-piece spare set lets you replace worn brushes without buying a new Brush PX unit. Keep a set on hand so you can swap fresh silicone in as soon as the current set shows wear.

Compatibility & Installation

Both the Panda Brush PX and Purge Shield are compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (X1C), P1P, and P1S. Installation is tool-free — both components mount into the existing nozzle wiper and purge area without modifications.

Not compatible with the A1, A1 Mini, or H2 series printers.
