Eryone Matte PLA produces prints with a soft, non-reflective surface that hides layer lines far better than standard glossy PLA. The matte finish gives every print a professional, high-end look straight off the build plate — no sanding, no painting, no post-processing. Available in 21 colours with a focus on earthy, natural, and rich tones that you won’t find in most basic PLA ranges.
At $19.99 per KG, it sits between our Basic Matte PLA ($17.99) and specialty filaments, offering a step up in colour selection, surface finish quality, and print speed capability.
The Eryone Matte PLA colour range goes well beyond standard primaries. Choose from core colours like Black, White, and Grey, earthy and natural tones like Kraft, Beige, Skin, Terracotta, and Olive Green, rich reds including Pottery Red, Red Wax, Ruby Red, and standard Red, greens from Mint Green and Aqua Blue through to Army Green and Black Forest Green, and blues including Ice Blue, Navy Blue, and Blue Lilac.
These tones are particularly popular for cosplay armour, display models, architectural prints, artistic pieces, and anything where you want a sophisticated finish without painting.
Standard PLA reflects light off layer lines, making them clearly visible — especially on curved surfaces. Matte PLA absorbs light instead, dramatically reducing visible layer lines and giving prints a smooth, uniform appearance. The surface also has higher scratch and wear resistance than standard PLA, so finished pieces stay looking good with handling.
Eryone Matte PLA supports print speeds up to 500 mm/s on capable printers, making it well suited to high-speed machines like the Bambu Lab X1C, P1S, and A1 series. At standard speeds (30–100 mm/s), it prints with excellent consistency and minimal stringing.
