PETG-CF Carbon Fiber combines the chemical resistance and toughness of PETG with 16% chopped carbon fibre reinforcement, delivering a filament that prints almost as easily as standard PETG but produces parts with noticeably higher stiffness and reduced warping. The carbon fibre content improves dimensional stability during cooling, making it well suited to larger prints and parts with tight tolerances.
The result is a filament that bridges the gap between basic PETG and full engineering-grade composites — without the extreme temperatures or enclosed chamber requirements of materials like polycarbonate or nylon carbon fibre.

Carbon Fiber PETG is the go-to filament when standard PETG isn’t rigid enough but you don’t need the full performance envelope of PA-CF or PC-CF. Common applications include drone frames, camera mounts, tool holders, jigs and fixtures, enclosure panels, automotive interior parts, and functional prototypes that need to hold their shape under moderate load.
Carbon fibre is abrasive and will rapidly wear a standard brass nozzle. A hardened steel extruder and nozzle are highly recommended. We suggest a 0.4 mm or larger nozzle diameter for best results — a 0.6 mm nozzle can further reduce the chance of partial clogs from fibre bundles.
